NOS tokens are airdropped to all Nano holders at a rate of 10:1. The snapshot was taken on November 13.
NOS is a utility token of a new DAG-based stablecoin projekt. It is forked from Nano similar as Banano.
From the NOS announcement:
Am I eligible for the airdrop?
You are eligible for the airdrop if you held Nano during the snapshot taken on November 13.
To make sure that only rightful account owners receive their NOS tokens, only users who are in control of their private keys are eligible for the airdrop. This means that exchange accounts like Binance or OKEx are excluded from the airdrop.
We reward all accounts that have broadcasted at least one block to the blockchain and contained at least 1 NANO of funds in total (regardless if pending or pocketed).

When Banano Runner and payment?
The fourth runner event happened on July 4/5 (24 hours) with an improved new Banano Runner version 4.2. Great job @mitchellcairns! The payments for this are still outstanding since thedevs carefully check for bots, but no worries, everyone will receive their payments as usual. It still appears unclear if there will be regular schedule for the Banano Runner faucet game in the future, and if payments will be 1:1 or not.
Monkey Match – another official Banano Faucet game
Coranos has further optimized Monkey Match, and on July 5/6 there was another round for this official Banano Faucet game where you could get free Banano. There surely will be more in the near future, so keep your eyes open.
General comment on faucet games since I saw some people complain: Keep in mind that these faucet games in general must cost you time and don’t make you rich overnight. Still surely a much nicer way to distribute a cryptocurrency for free when compared to basically all other faucets or airdrops. So these games are not primarily made for you to have lots of fun, but to ensure a fair and equal distribution. People in Venezuela or other poor countries will earn enough to make their living with these games, while for most others it is not profitable to play these games. If you like your time more than those games, consider rather buying some Banano directly. 😉
Bananobet.com is now online – with a daily faucet!

How To Buy Banano and the current price
Banano has not been listed at a bigger exchange yet, mainly because it is not that distributed that much. That means there will be faucet games and giveaways to fix this in the intermediate run, as it was announced regularly. However, you can buy Banano for Nano at the discord, but prices have recently gone up quite a bit. Current prize is 2661.66 BAN : 1 NANO.
@ironbfly has posted a nice summary of how to buy Banano through the discord escrow bot at #jungle-bazaar. Check it out if you have any questions.
Otherwise Banano was recently also listed on the small South American Exchange troca.ninja and has a BTC and a TNJ trading pair. I tested it with a small amount and withdrew successfully. However, be careful 😉

Banano Minecraft Server online!
@Ryo Akio created a banano minecraft server and added a Banano tipbot to it. Check it out if you like, it is quite fun. See all the action on the server with a dynamic live map shown at http://banano.cash.
Instructions to getting started: Start Minecraft (multiplayer, server IP: banano.cash). When you first enter, you will set a password for your in-game Banano wallet. Open the chatbox with t and type /register followed by your wallet password twice (in one line). Every time you join the server, you’ll have to /login with your password then. Type /balance to see your address and balance/pay player amount to pay another player/withdraw address amount to withdraw Banano. If you are using an offline client (not premium account) don’t use a premium nickname. If you use a premium nickname you will see a error when you try to join the server. There also is a channel at the discord, #minecraft, which is synced with the in-game chat. You also can ask questions there.

FIFA World Cup betting game – BananoCup!
The World Cup and the BananoCup WINNER betting game will finally come to an end tomorrow! Everyone could tip the FIFA World Cup winning team and win lots of Banano! More information and all rules and detailed tipstats of the game can still be found here on this website. Winnings will be paid out tomorrow after the game. The final pot was 17856 Banano! @BroDyaGa#4061 will be the overall winner and get 40% of the pot if Croatia wins, @Pedro Perez#6524 if France wins. Good luck both! All others who have tipped correctly will share 60% of the pot.

When Banano Runner?
There has been no Banano Runner (faucet game) for some time now, and the last announcement by @mitchellcairns was “Aiming for Mid-June (no promises)”. If you didn’t see it yet, check out the recently released 3D sneak peek video.
Otherwise @mitchellcairns announced at the Banano discord:
“This Wednesday, June 13th at 12PM (PST) we will be holding a live-streamed creation event. Have an obstacle idea that you would like to see in Banano Runner 4.0? Share your ideas in the stream chat, your idea just might end up an actuality! 4.0 is almost ready for launch; the addition of new obstacles and scenery items will make the update more refreshing and more fun to play.”
That is today, so keep your eyes open for further announcements at the Banano Discord #game-testing channel, and I guess the chances are good we will see the faucet game up and running on the coming weekend!
When aidrop? Banano airdrop to Nano holders
The first Banano airdrop has been distributed! If you had Nano at the snapshot date (April 30) and registered your wallet in time (see more information here), then you probably have received the first airdrop to Nano holders on June 11, two days ago.
Statement from @renesq at the discord:
“In case you haven’t noticed yet: All NANO airdrop coins were sent out. A total of 3066 accounts have been credited with a a total of 51M BANANO. You can see if you got some coins by using the BananoVault explorer https://vault.banano.co.in/account/ban_ followed by the account string of your original XRB account. The most straightforward way to get your hands on the coins is to enter your NANO seed in the BANANO webwallet – but it is not the most secure thing to do, in case you still have NANO on the same seed. I will release airdrop statistics once the testnet airdrop is done. If you missed the April 8 snapshot, there will be further airdrops soon. Do not DM me for problems with the airdrop. It is highly unlikely that I made a mistake. Some accounts like the Binance account and the Burn account were disqualified. If you don’t see funds, you may need to “create” multiple accounts on that seed in order to see the balance in the wallet. Happy dumping.”
Check the ratio and get some impression about the ongoing discussion going on about it for example here at Reddit. Since the distribution was done rather equally to all holders and not in the favor of whales getting more Banano, some people were not so happy about it. However, it is clear that there were good reasons to do it as it was done. Note that there will be future airdops obviously, and those might be more linear, i.e. if you have more Nano you will get more Banano for it. If you have problems or questions about how to claim your airdrop or access your dropped Banano, read the announcments, come to the discord and say whatever is unclear.
Free Banano can be won at Nanopoker.club
As mentioned earlier here there are few options how to get free Banano. The easiest one is to come to the Banano discord and contribute, see details for getting started here.
If you didn’t do so yet, check out the website NanoPoker.club. They currently have regular tournaments where you can win Nano or Banano, for free! Last weekend, @mojo won 1000 Banano in a freeroll Banano tournament. The last hand was a legendary Four of a Kind versus a Full House! Congrats! And thanks for sharing the screenshot, @mojo!

There is an World Cup betting game ongoing! Tip the FIFA World Cup winning team and win lots of Banano! The current pot is at almost at 6000 Banano already! With two more weeks to go, we can expect a huge pot at the end!

The vietnamese community-made website bananoplay.com had a major update and redesign. Basically they copied all texts and graphics from this website and posted them at theirs. They mention at least where the texts came from but did not consider linking here, those uncivilised monkeys! 😉
So should HowToBanano.info ever be offline just go there to find the same content 😉 They also indicated earlier that they would do a World Cup betting platform or game, so keep your eyes open.

8 days ago, on June 4th, 2018, Banano reached finally 1 Million blocks! Congrats! See a screenshot for future history books below. Before and after happened a huge party at the Discord with quite some rain! 😉

Contents very brief: New Team members, announcement of monKey concept (customized monkey-like visual account ID representation on the BANANO platform), Banano Nano Ledger S project going good, and new exchange features with escrow function for trading NANO vs. BANANO on the discord are live. Otherwise some vault upgrades, and some note that the last runners event payment is ongoing and will be wrapped up shortly. Apparently a lot of people have registered for the airdrop and the distribution should be finished during May. Yellow paper coming soon as well.

So if you participated in the first BANANO airdrop round as NANO holder (see banano.claims website), you are probably excited when the ratio of BANANO dropped per NANO will be announced. This should happen any day now! No worries if you missed this airdrop, there apparently will be more in the future!
It was mentioned before that this airdrop will not be linear, meaning that NANO whales will not get proportional much more BANANO than small hodlers, but let’s see. Surely the BANANO team will have a fair solution to this.
Otherwise if you participated in the last BANANO runner round a few days ago, it is completely ok if you did not receive your BANANO reward yet, it will come surely within the next few days! It was not yet announced if there will be another BANANO runner event this weekend as well.
So for now just wait for announcements! But no worries, you surely will get some fresh and tasty BANANO soon!
